The Context Menu

Antidote installs a context menu that is accessible within several applications.

A few examples:

  • Mail
  • LibreOffice
  • Thunderbird
  • Nisus Writer
  • and many others...

Accessing Antidote’s resources from the context menu

  1. Select the text to be corrected or the word to be looked up.
  2. Click the right mouse button (or hold down the ctrl key while clicking).
  3. In the context menu that opens, Antidote’s resources are in the lower section.
  4. Select the desired resource.

Note — With certain programs, Antidote first copies the text into a working document in order to make its corrections. After the correction is completed, to import the changes, copy and paste the result into the original document.

Customizing the context menu

The context menu panel in Agent Connectix’ settings allows you to personalize the context menu, e.g. by adding direct access to synonyms or conjugation.

Note — Customizing the context menu in Chrome is done directly in the application.
