Permissions With a URL for Safe Exam Browser

Safe Exam Browser (SEB) is designed to conduct exams on a controlled digital environment. Enabling SEB restricts access to other electronic resources, applications and websites during the evaluation. However, you can enable access to Antidote Web in this browser.

To have Antidote Web open automatically in exam mode, either enable it in the group permissions, or add a custom URL in SEB or in the exam intended for SEB. We recommend using a custom URL, as it allows you to tailor the environment to your evaluation.

This section describes the two steps you need to take to configure the URL:

  1. Start by creating a URL and adding different parameters to grant or restrict access to Antidote Web’s tools and content.

  2. Then, set up the SEB configuration tool to allow students to use Antidote Web in this browser and to secure the URL.
