Installing the Software—Administrators

This section is for system administrators who want to install the software on their organization’s computers.

Software Installation

Two software applications can be installed on a computer:

  • Antidote 12 (including Connectix)
  • Connectix (for Antidote Web users)

Connectix is used to manage Antidote 12 and Antidote Web integration with other software. It is installed along with Antidote 12. However, Antidote Web works online and does not require installation. You therefore need to install Connectix separately. This step is optional but strongly recommended so that users can correct their writing without having to copy-paste.

Installing Antidote 12 and installing Connectix involve largely the same process. Use the drop-down list at the top of this page to select between these two software applications and see the steps for installing them.

Automated Deployment

Automated deployment on multiple devices is only available on Windows. The Deployment Manager streamlines this process. Multiple deployment modes are supported: by command line, by GPO, by RDS and with Intune. Choose which software you want to install:

Deployment From One Workstation to Another

Tip — Do your employees have admin rights on their devices? Send them these instructions so they can install the software themselves.
