Installing the Software—Users
With Antidote Pro and Antidote Web, you can invite users to install the software on their computer themselves, as long as they have administrator rights. This section details the instructions you need to provide them and includes email templates you can use to do so.
There are two software applications that can be installed on a computer:
- Antidote 12 (including Connectix)
- Connectix (for Antidote Web users)
Connectix is the utility that integrates Antidote 12 and Antidote Web with other software. Installing Connectix is part of the Antidote 12 installation process. Since Antidote Web works directly online and does not need to be installed, Connectix must be installed separately. This step is optional but strongly recommended so users can correct their texts without having to copy-paste.
